Baylees Fishees has been shipping live fish and plants for many years.  WE HAVE USED THEM ALL and no carrier is perfect every time.  We select carriers that work the best with our packaging and schedule and that provide the best service and cost.  ALL our live good shipments are GUARANTEED 100%.  Baylees Fishees does not discriminate based on transit times, nor do we charge additional fees.  We have a modest shipping and handling fee based on USPS rates even if we choose to use a more expensive carrier.

ONLINE STORE - The online store uses USPS PRIORITY RATES.  These rates seem to be the most competitive and USPS handles 90% of our live good orders.  ALL of our plants are packed to handle more than TWO days in transit as well as most of our fish.  We pack professionally, and because of that, the customer saves money on shipping.  Some products purchased from the website may ship via carriers other than USPS priority and are at the expense and discretion of Baylees Fishees.

LARGE ORDERS - Large live plant orders will ship USPS Priority most of the time.  Large live fish orders may be large enough to ship Southwest Ailines.  Airport to airport shipments save time and money.  Please make sure your airport has a southwest terminal and you know the location so you can pick the packages up in a timely manner.  All southwest orders will be freight collect so you pay actual charges.  Most terminals do not have cash on hand!  You may pay cash, but they will NOT MAKE CHANGE.  It is best to use a credit card.  Large dry good orders may ship UPS ground.

SHIP DATES AND CONFIRMATION - Baylees Fishees ships EVERY WEEK.  We do not hold orders, or postpone orders because we are lazy.  Live goods can ONLY ship on certain days of the week.  Typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays are for live good shipments.  This allows plenty of time to deliver so they are not sitting in a terminal over the weekend.  Dry goods may ship any day of the week.  99% of the time, orders ship within 7 days.  Depending on what you order, when you order, and stock levels, your order may need to ship the FOLLOWING WEEK.  In most cases, we are able to ship same day, but we have many orders every week to coordinate.  Once orders are shipped, a confirmation email will be sent to you to let you know your package has been sent.
